News and Events 2020 SCTA/RCPA Annual Report We began 2020 with a vision for transportation sales tax reauthorization and robust response to the climate emergency. Little did we know how challenging the year would actually be. The combination of the pandemic and an intense fire season made 2020 a year like no other for many residents. However, there was some good news with voters approving the Go Sonoma Act, and the RCPA following up the 2018 Greenhouse Gas Inventory with a Draft Climate Mobilization Strategy calling for carbon neutrality by 2030. | Read the annual report SCP EverGreen-Local Resource Plan Sonoma Clean Power (SCP) invites the public to attend their 2nd Public Workshop for the EverGreen-Local Resource Plan. The workshop will continue the conversation about the future development of more local renewable energy sources, including the more technical aspects of the EverGreen-Local Resource Plan (covering the forecast energy use of EverGreen customers, hourly energy use modeling, and other resource considerations). | Register for the 1/12 workshop from 12-2PM Climate-Safe California The Climate Center is partnering with the Local Government Commission to lead the Climate-Safe California Campaign.
